Contacts DialogThe contacts dialog provides a way to choose contacts from the contacts list. Type a character or search string in the "Search Contacts" text field to narrow the list of available contacts in the left pane. One or more contacts can be chosen in the dialog by shift or control clicking contacts and clicking the > button. To remove contacts, select one or more contacts on the right list box and click the < button. To add or remove all the contacts in the list, use the >> or << buttons, respectively.
Date DialogThe date dialog provides a way to select a date to be included. Select the desired date by selecting the calendar date and choose the time with the appropriate combo boxes. The selected date appears in the upper left corner of the dialog, and the navigation buttons provide a way to go forward or backward one month or one year.
Groups DialogGroups are a way to group contacts with similar characteristics. They can be used to make contact segmentations in addition to geography based segmentations such as state or zip code. The groups dialog can be used to create new groups or to select from existing groups in the event database.
Recurring DialogThe recurring dialog provides a way to repeat events until the chosen end date. Choose to repeat on days, weeks, months or years and enter a valid number in the text field provided. Select a date on the calendar to end the recurring events. The selected date appears in the upper left corner of the dialog, and the navigation buttons provide a way to go forward or backward one month or one year.
Reminder DialogThe reminder dialog provides a way to remind the user of an event. Choose to set the reminder on or off via the radio button choice. After a reminder goes off, the event reminder is automatically set to off, which changes the status of the alarm. After dismissing an alarm and closing the Java Contactor, a dialog will prompt to save changes, even if no other task list changes were made. If the task changes are not saved on this prompt, the alarm will ring the next time the Java Contactor is started up again.
