Alarms

The Alarm dialog type creates an alarm that rings the system bell and pops up an alert when the alarm comes due.

  • Subject – The alarm subject.
  • Start Time – The time of the alarm, edit or remove this field using the date dialog.
  • Recurring – Defines whether or not the alarm recurs or not. Edit or remove this field using the recurring dialog.
  • Location – The location of the alarm event.
  • Description – The description of the alarm event.
  • Notes – The notes for the alarm event.

All Day Events

The All-Day Event dialog creates an all day event.

  • Subject – The all day event subject.
  • Date – The time of the all day event, edit or remove this field using the date dialog.
  • Recurring – Defines whether or not the all day event recurs or not. Edit or remove this field using the recurring dialog.
  • Group – Assign the all day event to a group of events. Use the group dialog in order to edit or remove this field
  • Reminder – Assign a reminder for this all day event. This will ring the system bell and pop up a dialog when it is due. Edit or remove this field using the reminder dialog.
  • Location – The location of the all day event.
  • Description – The description of the all day event.

Anniversaries

The Anniversary dialog creates an anniversary event.

  • Subject – The anniversary subject.
  • Date – The date of the anniversary, edit or remove this field using the date dialog.
  • Recurring – Defines whether or not the anniversary recurs or not. Edit or remove this field using the recurring dialog.
  • Group – Assign the anniversary to a group of events. Use the group dialog in order to edit or remove this field

The Appointment dialog creates an appointment event.

Meetings

The meeting event creates a meeting with required and optional invitees.

  • Subject – The meeting subject.
  • Start Time – The start time of the meeting, edit or remove this field using the date dialog.
  • End Time – The end time of the meeting, edit or remove this field using the date dialog.
  • Recurring – Defines whether or not the meeting recurs or not. Edit or remove this field using the recurring dialog.
  • Reminder – Assign a reminder for this meeting. This will ring the system bell and pop up a dialog when it is due. Edit or remove this field using the reminder dialog.
  • Chair Person – The chair person of the meeting
  • Group – Assign the meeting to a group of events. Use the group dialog in order to edit or remove this field
  • Required Invitees – The required invitees
  • Optional Invitees – The optional invitees
  • Resources – The resources such as a projector necessary for the meeting
  • Location – The location of the meeting event.
  • Description – The description of the meeting event.
  • Notes – The notes for the meeting event.

Tasks

A task dialog creates a task event with due dates and percent complete.

  • Subject – The task subject.
  • Start Time – The start time of the task, edit or remove this field using the date dialog.
  • Due Date – The due date of the task, edit or remove this field using the date dialog.
  • Recurring – Defines whether or not the task recurs or not. Edit or remove this field using the recurring dialog.
  • Reminder – Assign a reminder for this task. This will ring the system bell and pop up a dialog when it is due. Edit or remove this field using the reminder dialog.
  • Priority – The priority of the task, e.g. low, medium, high, etc.
  • Status – The status of the task, e.g. Not Started, Started, In Progress, etc.
  • Group – Assign the task to a group of events. Use the group dialog in order to edit or remove this field
  • Percent Complete – The percentage complete of the task.
  • Description – The description of the task event.
  • Notes – The notes for the task event.
